TEMPORARY LODGING AT TRAVIS AFB:
Temporary lodging is available on-base for a fee. Typically, temporary lodging reservations are granted for 30-days for a permanent change of station arrival. For reservations or other information, call the Westwind Inn at 707-424-8000, DSN 312-837-8000 or 888-AF-LODGE.

AIRMAN & FAMILY READINESS CENTER - A&FRC SERVICES

Inquire about the following services before your arrival or visit A&FRC upon your arrival for more information.

  • 20 hours per child 'FREE' childcare with FCC providers (must provide a copy of PCS orders.) 
  • Discovery Center - copy, scan, print, fax, and obtain Carfax reports.

CA SMOG CHECK

Within 30 days of arrival, Servicemembers will be emailed information regarding ECARES registration on base (CA Clean Air Law).  Vehicles 6 years and older must complete Smog Check.  If you have been notified and require a Smog Check please contact the 60 CES ECARS Program Manager at 707.424.5103 for details and additional information.  Here is a list of Smog Stations in Solano County (Fairfield, Vacaville, & Suisun City, CA).

If you're relocating to Travis AFB with school-aged children, select the "School Info" tab at the bottom left of the screen.  It is best to contact the School Liason Officer before securing a home off-base if you wish for your children to attend school on Travis.  See School Info tab for program manager information.

SPOUSE RESOURCES

Heartlink (AF 101) is a program for spouses new to the Air Force. "Sign Up for a class" though our home page. Course offered quarterly, April 11th, July 11th and Oct 10, 2014.

Key Spouse is a unit liaison selected by the Commander to support families. Do you know who your Key Spouse is?

Scholarship information is available at the A&FRC

Working in California (Employment Orientation) the 1st Monday from 9-11am.

Spouse Groups on Travis include Enlisted Spouse Club, Officer Spouse Club, Medical Group Spouse Club, International Spouse Club and LGBT Alliance.

Youth Programs offers before and after school care for your child(ren). We offer 3 types of different child care solutions, School Age Care, Open Recreation Program and Teen Program. We also offer extracurricular activities such as Youth Sports Program, Youth Instructional Classes and Youth Clubs to keep your children engaged.
